About Amit N

Amit, a follower of Jesus Christ, who came to know Him as his personal Saviour in April 2005 at a Youth Camp in Khandala, Maharashtra, India. His journey with God and with singing and music began since this beautiful conversion experience of heart and mind from darkness of the world to light of God. He loves to share about this beautiful journey (or should be) of humanity from darkness to light through his preaching, teaching and songs.

He was born in Mumbai, India in a Christian family. However, he was far from being Christ-like. He is still on a journey of maturing to be Christ-like. He believes it’s always ongoing till we meet our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ in person when we breath our last breath on this earth. One of his life statements is, “Learning is a process from womb to tomb.”

Since 2006, he is serving Christ in many different capacities such as an associate pastor, worship leader, preacher, teacher, singer, songwriter, percussionist and as a disciple of Him overall. He has completed his Master of Divinity from Ambrose University in Calgary, AB. Currently, he is serving as an associate pastor at Yeshu Mandli (YM Church) in Calgary, AB.

He is a handsome husband of his beautiful and stunning wife, Karunya. He is also a blessed father of his 16-month-old daughter, Yashana. He is a content son of his parents Ulhas Nade and Rajni Nade. And, a joyful brother of his talented and gifted younger brother, Sushant.

Amit has sung for various cover songs on Praise247 YouTube channel. He enjoys singing in various languages such as English, Hindi, Marathi, Nepali, Telugu, and Punjabi. He believes there is no particular spoken language that brings glory to God, it is just the language of the heart.

About Nishanth G

Nishanth is a man of few words and many deeds. He is a humble servant that strives to give his best in every area of his life. He may come across quite but he lets his guitar speak for himself. Nishanth hails from Hyderabad and had a very strong Christian faith upbringing. He is a God-fearing husband, an obedient son, a caring brother, a playful uncle, and a trustworthy friend.

While growing up Nishanth enjoyed music and took interest in listening to distortion guitar influenced bands. Over the years as his music was influenced by such bands. His mother always tried to guide him in Christ centered way in all things. God spoke to him through his mother which made him realize that God has given him the gift of music and therefor needs to dedicate it to God first and use it for His glory alone. Since then God used Nishanth’s music gift at his local church and blessed many song projects done by his friends.

After moving to Canada Nishanth waited upon God for opening doors for him to exercise his gift in music. He in fact prayed to God that before finding job he would find a place of worship to bring glory and honor to God alone.

Currently Nishanth offers leadership on YM Worship team as a worship team coordinator and is heavily involved in shaping new musicians and plugging them at YM church in the areas where they can exercise their gifting. Nishanth actively exercises Praise247 moto to influence, inspire and help others exercise their God given gifts and talents, one such group is Alpha Realm of Worship .

About Steffi Sankeerthana

Steffi originally hails from Hyderabad, the largest city of state Telangana in India. She comes from a devout Christian family. Steffi is a daddy’s girl, loveable daughter, wise elder sister, and Godly wife. Apart from that she is a down to earth human being who loves God and loves to share Jesus with others. Her passion for Jesus keeps growing as she has her own life-transforming testimony where she experienced the power of Christ’s love at a very young age of 16 and she now testifies that its very much through/by/from/of and for that love alone, she lives!!! So her continuous desire in learning of Christ, pursuing her calling through the help of the Holy Spirit is pretty evident through her activities in sharing the love of Christ, that she keeps herself occupied along with her family responsibilities.

Steffi loves to connect with people and listen to their faith journey. She strongly believes in exalting God through her singing and she does it whenever an opportunity arises. She is a phenomenal singer and her mellifluous voice will draw you closer to God’s presence. You are welcome to listen to her singing at the Alpha Realm of Worship YouTube channel.

Steffi is a prayer warrior which means that she is ever ready to listen and pray along your side. Other giftings are teaching, counseling, and writing. Steffi serves on the teaching ministry department with Yeshu Mandli Church. She preaches and teaches from the Word of God often at Yeshu Mandli Church along with that she stays in connection with her prayer partners in India, few Christian centers for young people, where she offers encouragement and counseling to those that are new in faith and journeys with the new believers of faith according to their pace.

About Stawan W

He is a singer/songwriter/producer of the PRAiSE247 music. His sincere voice, soul-stirring lyrics, passion for music, and complete reliance on the Holy Spirit make his songs very unique. He does not consider himself as an artist or seasoned musician but he states that all of his songs have birthed out of reverence, obedience and faithfulness to the teaching of the LORD and saviour Jesus Christ.

Hailing from Mumbai (India), Stawan was brought up in a very pious Christian family. His father Rev. Diwakar Wankhede is a renowned and revered pastor and is a senior leader in the church of the Nazarene denomination. Stawan’s mother Ujwala Wankhede is a Godly woman who has been supportive and contributes heart, mind, and soul since the inception of their ministry in Mumbai. His wife Dimple is selfless, God-centered and always motivates him to follow his passion and achieve great heights. He is blessed with two beautiful daughters Hosanna and Adona.

Stawan’s musical journey is inspirational. His first appreciation and recognition for his music happened in the year 1998. His composed song was selected as the theme song of the conference “Build the bridge”, he was merely 16 years of age.  He sang the theme song along with his church youth members.

Also, he has contributed in song writing whenever Christ Jesus has divinely revealed and inspired him. He desires that through this gift of singing and song-writing listeners will not only know about the soverign nature of God, but they will also know God’s redemptive plan from sin for humanity through Jesus Christ of the everlasting life according to John 3:16.

His musical composition journey became more active in Canada. He was 19 years of age when he arrived in Canada for further studies. After a couple of years, Stawan started to miss his home country, India and the language, Hindi. It was during this time Stawan composed his first Hindi song while he was helping out on a ranch. This song also happens to be his testimony song “Tere bin mai Kaise jiu mere Prabhu Yeshu” which translates to “how can I live without you, my LORD Jesus”

Soon after his testimony song, Stawan continued to listen to Gods voice and started penning beautiful lyrics for his compositions. All of his songs are mostly influenced by life circumstances and seeking answers from God in those moments. He firmly believes that the biggest strength of his composition is, being obedient and faithful to the voice of God and promptly responding to it. This process has given birth to over forty-five original songs and still counting. Since 2017 Stawan has released four of his original songs on the PRAiSE247 YouTube channel. The music, Stawan so far has produced are of mixed genres. He loves to explore and strives to sound authentic and original.
