SOON TO RELEASE… In the meanwhile here is the story of Set My Eyes On You~ SMEOY
During these quarantine days, the world is bombarded with COVID-19 information and growing fear of people getting infected by the virus and moreover the deaths that are rising globally increasing daily in 100’s and 1000’s.
In all of this, a story from India emerged reporting thousands of daily wage laborers were left to walk back to their hometowns along with their young families walking hundreds and thousands of miles due to the lockdown in the country. As the chaos grew in the country, a video of a mother dragging a luggage bag along the main highway with her toddler laying on top of the luggage bag appeared and that picture broke my heart. As I looked around myself and the state of the world I wondered if God sees it all.

Seeing this picture caused by the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, my heart was so heavy that I was having a hard time finding words to praise God. At some point in life, we all go through a time where we struggle to find words to praise God in the midst of pain and suffering.
Then God reminded me of His assurance through the following scriptures from the Bible. Psalms 23, even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death you are with me; Psalm 46 says, be still and know that I am God, Isaiah 40 affirmed me of those that wait upon the Lord will renew strength and will soar like an eagle.
“Set My Eyes On You” song reminds my soul to set my eyes on God who Is all-knowing and is ever-present during these times. Deuteronomy 31:6 reassures and comforts us that God never leaves us nor forsake us.
Covid-19 pandemic has allowed us to care for each other more intentionally and as we do that let us set our eyes on God who is able to give us the strength to go through these rough times.
Therefore, don’t give up hope, let your heart grow strong because you should know who is on your side. My hope and prayer are that you will find peace and comfort in knowing that God is present in your current challenges just as He was from the beginning of the time and will sustain you until the second coming of Jesus Christ!
Today as you read this story, I would like to conclude with Hebrews 4:16 ~ “Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.” And we are able to do this by fixing our eyes on Jesus the author and perfecter of our faith. Hebrews12:2.
